Yeoor Hills Forest

Yeoor Hills is a part of Borivali national park. Hence it is the eastern part of the national park. This place has lots of dense flora and fauna as well as avifauna. This place is a rich source of dense shrubs bushes and various types of trees as well as fruits. The most famous are the leopards. This region has the highest density of leopards compared to other parts of India. Hence this is a protected space. This is the only place where man and leopards dwell together.

After dark the place is not meant to be roamed freely or explore as the night time brings out the snakes, reptiles as well as the ace predator the leopards out to hunt. The forest also bears extreme climate. During summers everything is bone dry and hot where as during monsoon, there is no dearth of water.
